Hi, Recently an RC bug has been filed against silo, as it was no longer possible to build it against new linux-kernel-headers (details may be found in #393114). I came up with a patch for the problem, which only affects the functions for reading from a UFS partition. It is not clear at this point whether this patch would be required for etch, because RM team is considering reverting to older version of linux-kernel-headers at the moment. Nevertheless, it would be great if people who might be affected by that change (for example, those using silo to boot Solaris from UFS partition) would test the updated package available at http://www.wooyd.org/debian/silo and provide feedback.
