Sparc Classic 4? Are you shure? I own a Sparc Classic and a Sparcstation 4. Never heard about a Sparc Classic 4. Are you talking about the Sun-4m architecture? Both Sparc Classic and Sparcstation 4 are 32 bit machines. They work fine with Debian 3.0 (woody). I think Debian 3.1 (sarge) is ok. I can check that, but not now. Debian Etch on 32 bit? Never tried.
