Looks like this got broken by the xorg-server patch in lenny r1. You should be able to install the version of the xserver-xorg-core package released with lenny r0 and use that. I'd appreciate a patch to fix this mess though, as I can't fix this myself, not having any sparc hardware. Otherwise I guess sparc X users will be SOL on lenny...
