It will be significantly more difficult to write drivers for an undocumented device. Your first step should be to gather as much information as possible on it. sunhelp.org might be a good place to start as the rescue list has a lot of folks who are very knowledgeable about Sun kit. Have you identified via OpenBoot, proc, etc. what bus the keyboard is attached to and what the keyboard controllers are?
