Maybe you can do some checking? 1) Do you not have /usr/lib/libXm.so.2 or libMrm.so.2? 2) Does your *.deb package match the expected file size? 3) If you download the package directly from the site, does the MD5 sum match the package you have locally? If all else fails, you can open a bug for it or email the maintainer to see if there are any sparc-specific changes that might have results in a bad package.
