Yup. However, http://www.freebsd.org/where.html indicates Sparc64 is still fully supported by FreeBSD. Debian GNU/kFreeBSD only ships for amd64 and i386. Perhaps porting it to sparc64 would be more future-proof than trying to get Linux back to sparc64?
