Both issues should be resolved now in my latest image: > https://people.debian.org/~glaubitz/debian-cd/debian-9.0-sparc64-NETINST-1.iso The kernel packages are now preset on CD (as can also be seen from the larger image size) and partman-ext3 has been replaced with a patched version.
