With a 32-bit Debian userland I created a 64-bit userland with bootstrapping sparc64 on a other partition. https://wiki.debian.org/Sparc64 For this reason i am able boot the OLD 3.4 and 4.x kernel. The 3.4 does that fine. But the 4.x kernels are error'ing with panics as reported. Thanks, Frans van Berckel
