Hi, Currently h5py FTBFS on sparc64 (and has done for as long as sparc64 has been building packages without nocheck), as the test suite crashes with SIGBUS due to unaligned memory accesses. I have submitted a fix upstream at the above URL; please include the patch in the Debian package. Regards, James
