Searching for opie in the openssh-unix-dev list archive reveals a newer patch from Wichert, which he had hoped would appear in 3.0: http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=openssh-unix-dev&m=100483915419537&w=2 However, as of 3.1p1, it still doesn't seem to have made it in. :-/ -- Aaron M.
