Indeed, 245849 and 245854 are *both* still open, and the fact that this had been previously reported should therefore have been easily determined by checking the bugs page before filing. IMHO, this bug and those merged to it should now be closed, as a fixed makedev has been uploaded. I'll leave that to the maintainer's discretion, however. Adam
