forgotten to mention the difference with original bug report:
I do have /tmp/.X13-lock owned by cat user (running VNC) and also there
is
$> ls /tmp/.X11-unix/X13 -l
0 srwxrwxrwx 1 cat cat 0 2007-02-12 16:31 /tmp/.X11-unix/X13=
but that might be due to the fact that in original submitter case it was
conflicting with non-local X (may be other forwarded ssh connection) or
simply due to a lengthy lapse between now and original bug report
