Package: openssh-client Version: 1:5.3p1-1 Severity: normal [I'm not sure about the severity, feel free to downgrade.]
Since I updated my desktop computer to openssh-client 1:5.3p1-1, I keep seeing messages such as the following in /var/log/auth.log on all my servers (IP address redacted) every time I close an SSH session: Jan 28 13:18:30 mirobole sshd[4365]: Received disconnect from X.X.X.X: 11: disconnected by user The servers all run Debian lenny, and the message is caught by logcheck so I assume it is of some relevance. If not, then I suggest updating the logcheck ruleset :-) Roland. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-trunk-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages openssh-client depends on: ii adduser 3.112 add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.28 Debian configuration management sy ii dpkg 1.15.5.6 Debian package management system ii libc6 2.10.2-5 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcomerr2 1.41.9-1 common error description library ii libedit2 2.11-20080614-1 BSD editline and history libraries ii libgssapi-krb5-2 1.8+dfsg~alpha1-5 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries - k ii libk5crypto3 1.8+dfsg~alpha1-5 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries - C ii libkrb5-3 1.8+dfsg~alpha1-5 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries ii libncurses5 5.7+20090803-2 shared libraries for terminal hand ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8k-8 SSL shared libraries ii passwd 1:4.1.4.2-1 change and administer password and ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.4.dfsg-3 compression library - runtime Versions of packages openssh-client recommends: ii openssh-blacklist 0.4.1 list of default blacklisted OpenSS ii openssh-blacklist-extra 0.4.1 list of non-default blacklisted Op ii xauth 1:1.0.4-1 X authentication utility Versions of packages openssh-client suggests: pn keychain <none> (no description available) pn libpam-ssh <none> (no description available) pn ssh-askpass <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- Roland Mas OpenPGP keys on http://www.keyserver.net/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
