Sorry for the delay. The thing that was holding me up here was that I wanted to sort out a proper migration to git first, complete with stitching in the full upstream history seeing as upstream now provides a git mirror; but I was having some problems getting reposurgeon to round-trip the upstream repository correctly. After some help from ESR, I've now got this working, and I'm pushing up the repository now. Details will follow in a separate thread. Upgrading to 6.5p1 should be a pretty quick job based on this, so I'll sort that out in the next couple of delays.
