No, it is not fixed. After upgrading and restarting sshd (this should not be necessary, but just to make sure it wasn't related to this): cventin:~> scp é z localhost:/tmp Connected to cventin (from 127.0.0.1) é 100% 0 0.0KB/s 00:00 z 100% 486 1.3MB/s 00:00 And note that this is not related to the character display width, but apparently to the number of bytes taken by the character. cventin:~> locale LANG=POSIX LANGUAGE= LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 LC_NUMERIC="POSIX" LC_TIME=en_DK LC_COLLATE=POSIX LC_MONETARY="POSIX" LC_MESSAGES="POSIX" LC_PAPER="POSIX" LC_NAME="POSIX" LC_ADDRESS="POSIX" LC_TELEPHONE="POSIX" LC_MEASUREMENT="POSIX" LC_IDENTIFICATION="POSIX" LC_ALL= -- Vincent Lefèvre <[email protected]> - Web: <https://www.vinc17.net/> 100% accessible validated (X)HTML - Blog: <https://www.vinc17.net/blog/> Work: CR INRIA - computer arithmetic / AriC project (LIP, ENS-Lyon)
