This problem is also occuring in Mozilla 0.9.3. When it uses the
monospace font 'adobe-courier-iso8859-1', little boxes are displayed
instead of text. A change to 'misc-fixed-iso8859-1' works fine.
Also, it occurs on the NY Times for italicized text. (For example, on
the front page below "'Acts of War'" i get boxes instead of "White
House, Air Force One Were Targets").
