lilo postinst output and boot-floppies

I'm sure I'm not the only one that has lilo's postinst intrude on
boot-floppies' screen? Has this been reported as a bug against lilo? Is
this going to be fixed? It looks like the output should go to tty4, I
guess the redirects aren't working right then? I apologize for not
having read or searched the archives for this before posting. Feel free
to ignore. ;)
