Yes, that's just happened to me as well. I solved it by doing a
'dpkg -i --force-overwrite
/var/cache/apt/archives/xlibs_4.1.0-6_i386.deb', the output of which
showed that it also conflicts in the same way with a couple more
packages, can't remember which. Don't know if I did right, but my X is
working...
