No, I'm using a pre-build one specified on the debian site (http://www.uk.debian.org/News/2001/20010415) I've got the source for this, I'd like to find a .config file so that I can change it as little as possible from the original. I am using this kernel on another all SCSI machine (booting from the hard disk) though.
