I've run into a deadlock with package xfonts-baekmuk on debian sid.
The normal apt-get update && apt-get upgrade won't continue unless xfonts-baekmuk is
installed.
Installation of said package fails with either dpkg returning an error 1, 'apt-get
install
xfonts-baekmuk' just hangs on the extraction of the package.
Removing/Purging the package doesn't seem possible without installing the package
first and
installation continues to fail.

Does anybody know how to force package removal either by hand (using dpkg or apt-get)
or by
manipulating the package repository directly (without a tool)???
I've tried 'dpkg -r --force-remove-reinstreq xfonts-baekmuk'. This command hangs on
extraction of
the package (and after killing the process the lock in /var/lib/dpkg needs to be
removed manually
and 'dpkg --configure -a' run to cleanup the mess).

I'd appreciate any sugestions as to how I can get rid of the package!!!
