I found a quick fix, I just went and installed the packages by hand from the archive directory, like this dpkg -i xf86setup_3.3.2.3a-8.deb xserver-mach64_3.3.2.3a-8.deb
If this is a redundant bug notice then please in\gnore this and the last post > has anyone seen this sort of thing happeng? > > dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of xf86setup: > xf86setup depends on xserver-vga16 | xserver; however: > Package xserver-vga16 is not installed. > Package xserver is not installed. > Package xserver-mach64 which provides xserver is not configured yet. > dpkg: error processing xf86setup (--configure): > dependency problems - leaving unconfigured > > Got this immediatly after attempting to configure Xfree86.
