Ok, everything tests out fine on my end. System config:
IBM ThinkPad 560 P133, 40mb, 2.1gb 11.3" DSTN, 1mb Both 2.2.15 and 2.4.0-test1 bzImage kernels booted just fine. As an aside more directly to debian-testing, this was by far the easiest and most error-free installation of Debian ever, especially considering that it was done on my ThinkPad. Everything installed and worked properly the first time: X, Gnome, Netscape and many other packages. The only thing I had to do was re-compile the kernel to get sound working. Copious kudos to all :) Cheers.......................................... > Oops....ok. :) > > I'll make a bzImage kernel using 2.4.0-test1 sources, unless I should use > a later patch...??? > > Lemme know........... :) > > > > > On Tue, 13 Jun 2000, Matthew Thompson wrote: > > > > > I have a ThinkPad 560 P133.
