Hello Joe, The best (and easiest way) to upgrade to woody is to edit /etc/apt/sources.list and change the words potato or stable (but not the ones from security.debian.org) to woody. Then apt-get update, apt-get install apt-utils debconf dpkg , and finally apt-get dist-upgrade
