I made it... Please don't treat me bad... after the first changes I *checked* the level settings in 'aumix' and the volume on the speaker of course. Nothing. Then today I launched first 'xaumix' in which all the levels were set to zero (mute). Then again with 'aumix' I raised the levels again and eureka. Is it possible that some other software overwhelms aumix?
