Consistently get the following problem with lprng using testing: The last job remains in the queue as a "done" entry. Trying to send a new print job gives no error message but simply sends the job somewhere in the deep blue yonder.
Must use "lpq" the "lprm JOBNR" to clean the queue. Then can send a new job successfully. Here is an example: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ lpq Printer: [EMAIL PROTECTED] 'Printer1 auto' Queue: no printable jobs in queue Server: no server active Status: job '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' saved at 18:19:24.033 Filter_status: lp is ready and printing Rank Owner/ID Class Job Files Size Time done [EMAIL PROTECTED] A 500 (STDIN) 34614 18:18:32 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ lprm 500 Printer [EMAIL PROTECTED]: checking perms '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' dequeued '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Ideas on how to get rid of this pesty state are most welcome.
