hi folx,

on my old 386 (an IBM PS/2 8573 P70) apt-get, nullmailer and wvdial crash
whenever run only saying "Illegal instruction". dpkg still works, dselect i'll
have to try. i believe it's broken since i upgraded from woody to sid a week
ago. i can't tell wether all packages have been installed successfully but i'm
sure there were some problems during the upgrade. i just don't know if i've
resolved them then. btw: i have sid running on the exact same machine model
(except for the fs which is reiserfs on a scsi disk on the broken machine and
nfs-root on the working one) with no problems.
i've found a few posts about similar problems bu no solution yet.

any hints? is this some gcc2.95/gcc3.x issue?

thx in advance, f. soul
