Mmm... A mi em va bé el que tú proves (estic amb Debian woody). Supose que és alguna cosa del groff que no tens ben instal.lada. El fitxer DESC deu estar al teu filesystem, pero el groff no el troba.
Al meu sistema: $ dpkg -S DESC groff: /usr/share/groff/1.17.2/font/devlbp/DESC groff-base: /usr/share/groff/1.17.2/font/devutf8/DESC groff-base: /usr/share/groff/1.17.2/font/devnippon/DESC groff: /usr/share/groff/1.17.2/font/devdvi/DESC kpoker: /usr/share/doc/kpoker/DESCRIPTION groff-base: /usr/share/groff/1.17.2/font/devascii8/DESC groff-base: /usr/share/groff/1.17.2/font/devascii/DESC groff: /usr/share/groff/1.17.2/font/devhtml/DESC groff: /usr/share/groff/1.17.2/font/devps/DESC Al teu deuria de sortir quelcom de paregut.
