Hast du einen SCSI/IDE-Mix? Dann warnt dich Lilo, weil einige BIOSe das Booten von der IDE-Platte vorziehen, oder weil der SCSI-Controler evtl. kein BIOS hat und ohne Software(Kernel)-Hilfe die Platte nicht findet, oder, oder, oder... Wenn es läuft, dann irgnoriere es einfach.
