Das ist so nicht ganz richtig, ich habe mal mit dem Maintainer von Exim Mark Baker eine Mail bekommen, nachdem ich einen Bugreport deshalb rausgeschickt hatte. Er meinte folgendes: "The correct solution is to configure fetchmail to use the correct domain to qualify your mails; this is easy to do with an smtpaddress keyword in the configuration file. [...] The reason I haven't added localhost to the domains that exim accepts by default is that I don't think doing so is the correct solution to this. Also, I can't remember what the reasons were now but I know the upstream author felt that it shouldn't be included by default."
Daraufhin hab ich an meine .fetchmailrc einfach noch das "is n0bse here" durch ein "is [EMAIL PROTECTED] here" angehaengt, dann werden die Mails korrekt ausgeliefert.
