Hast du die Datei "rgb.txt" in dem Pfad "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/" ?
Hast du in der /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 folgende Zeile stehen?
Section "Files"
RgbPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb"
...
