So the disk label has been set things stuff like: Debian 2.2 0a sparc Bin-1 The /.disk/info strings are like: Debian GNU/Linux 2.2 0a "Potato" - Official sparc Binary-1 (20000818) and the directory they're in is: debian-cd/2.2_rev0_CDa/sparc/ It's not perfect, but I think it makes some sort of sense.
