Hi, da hast Du aber Glück :-) Ich habe das Teil jetzt hier am laufen (2.2.17). Auf ide-linux.org (oder so) habe ich einen backport des IDE-Teils von 2.4 auf 2.2.16/17/18 gefunden. Beim 2.2.17 mußte man etwas Handarbeit machen, der Patch wollte mit den Debian-Sourcen nicht ganz durchlaufen.
Danach hast Du einen entsprechenden Treiber in den sourcen, den Du einkompilieren mußt. Mfg Mark (unter Block-Devices) CONFIG_BLK_DEV_PDC202XX: Promise Ultra33 or PDC20246. This driver adds up to 4 more eide devices sharing a single interrupt. This add-on card is a bootable PCI UDMA controller. Since multiple cards can be installed and there are BIOS ROM problems that happen if the BIOS revisions of all installed cards (three-max) do not match. Should you be unable to make new BIOS chips with a burner, the driver attempts to dynamic tuning of the chipset at boot-time for max-speed. Ultra33 BIOS 1.25 or new required for more than one card. This card may require "PDC202XX Special UDMA Feature". Promise Ultra66 or PDC20262. This driver adds up to 4 more eide devices sharing a single interrupt. This add-on card is a bootable PCI UDMA ATA-66 controller. The driver attempts to dynamic tuning of the chipset at boot-time for max-speed. Note tested limits are UDMA-2.
