Hab ich auch so. Check mal, ob die Option auch richtig übergeben wird:
ps aux | grep auto
root 765 0.0 0.2 2060 824 ? S 12:33 0:00
/usr/sbin/automount --timeout=3 /var/autofs/misc file /etc/auto.misc
