Personnellement j'ai téléchargé via :
http://ftp.belnet.be/pub/mirror/ftp.openoffice.org/contrib/rc/2.0.0rc1/OOo_2.0.0rc1_050923_LinuxIntel_install_fr.tar.gz
puis un tar xvzf OOo_2.0.0rc1_050923_LinuxIntel_install_fr.tar.gz
et alien -k *.586.deb
et enfin dpkg -i *.586.deb
Tout c'est bien installé sous /opt
Puis dans un sous dossier de RPMS : desktop-integration :
dpkg -i openoffice.org-debian-menus_1.9.125-1_all.deb
Et là Oh miracle : les bons menus dans gnome...
