donc, j'ai installé splashy, mais ça ne fonctionne pas.
Dans les log de boot j'ai à plusieurs reprises :
Splashy is not running... no commands can be sent
Please verify /etc/default/splashy and /etc/splashy/config.xml for
correctness
d'accord sauf que je ne vois pas bien quoi configurer...
Contenu de /etc/default/splashy :
# splashy PID file
spl_pidfile="/etc/splashy/splashy.pid"
# splashy FIFO file
spl_fifo="/etc/splashy/splashy.fifo"
# splashy will switch to this tty after finishing
spl_tty="7"
Contenu de /etc/splashy/config.xml :
<splashy>

/etc/splashy/themes -->
<theme>/etc/splashy/themes/default</theme>

Tout cela me semble en ordre mais ça ne marche pas. J'ai aussi ajouté
ensuite dans /boot/grub/menu.lst la ligne :
kopt=root=/dev/hda1 ro
mais un # update-grub me renvoie :
Searching for GRUB installation directory ... found: /boot/grub
.
Testing for an existing GRUB menu.list file... found:
/boot/grub/menu.lst .
Searching for splash image... none found, skipping...
Found kernel: /vmlinuz-2.6.12-1-k7
Found kernel: /vmlinuz-2.6.8-1-386
Found kernel: /vmlinuz-2.4.27-1-k7
Updating /boot/grub/menu.lst ... done
et lorsque je réouvre /boot/grub/menu.lst ma ligne
kopt=root=/dev/hda1 ro a disparue (enfin ne reste que la ligne par
défaut, commentée)
Bon..
