J'ai une machine sous sarge qui tourne avec un serveur DHCP, j'ai un portbale Ubuntu/Windows qui utilise ce serveur pour initialiser une connexion. Le portable utilise une carte ethernet PCMCIA.

Quand j'allume le portable j'ai des petits problèmes pour obtenir une adresse IP.

Sous Windows je n'obtiens pas d'adresse diectement au boot, si j'attends quelques secondes ça vient tout seul, la connexion est OK, je pense que IE commande lui-même la réparation de la connexion.

Sous Ubtuntu je n'ai pas non plus d'adresse pour eth0, il faut que je fasse un "ifdown eth0" puis "ifup eth0" et la connexion est alors opérationnelle.

Quelqun a-t-il une idée de la source de ce problème ?

Je me suis apperçu de ce problème en bidouillant mon firewall que j'ai désactivé depuis, normalement je suis revenu à la configuration de base de sarge.
