Je voudrais faire tourner aiglx et compiz sue xfce. Mais je ne
trouve pas la solution, quand je lance compiz j'ai ce message
d'erreur:
compiz
/usr/bin/compiz.real: Another window manager is already running on
screen: 0
/usr/bin/compiz.real: No manageable screens found on display :0.0
Sous gnome j'ai aucun soucis.

Un petit copier/colle du tuto. J'ai utilisé la partie sur KDE et ça
fonctionne bien. A essayer donc...
Xfce4
First edit the file /etc/xdg/xfce4-session/xfce4-session.rc and comment
the lines regarding xfwm4 :
#Client0_Command=xfwm4
#Client0_PerScreen=False
Secondly, you must create a file ~/.config/autostart/compiz.desktop
taking care of compiz start :
[Desktop Entry]
Name=No name
Encoding=UTF-8
Version=1.0
Exec=compiz --replace --fast-filter --use-cow
X-GNOME-Autostart-enabled=true
That's it. Restart the X server and you are good to go.
