Le controleur RAID de la PE 2600 est un PERC4/Di. D'apr�s la page de Matt
Domsch, que j'�pluche depuis hier, il faut le pilote megaraid.o (cf "linux
distributions/Debian) en version r�cente, c'est � dire sup�rieure � 1.18a.
Je suis en contact avec eduard Bloch (blade) (people.debian.org/~blade) qui
travaille sur la prochaine version des boots floppies. D'apr�s lui, il a
pr�par� tout ce qu'il faut pour que �a marche, mais je me suis embrouill�
dans ses explications et je n'y arrive toujours pas (mauvais disque de boot
avec modules pour le mauvais noyau).
A la phase de boot, il faudrait donc charger les pilotes megaraid.o e1000.o
(la carte r�seau intel).
Apr�s, eduard bloch dit qu'il faut installer le noyau 2.4.20 de testing, car
il aurait tout ce qu'il faut.
J'ai essay� d'utiliser la disquette de "nick" sur la page de matt domsch
(domsch.com/linux) contenant les deux pilotes n�cessaires, mais seule le
pilote de la carte r�seau marche.

soit il faut charger aacraid.o, soit megaraid.o
quelle est ton controleur RAID ?
Matt Domsch decrit assez bien le module � charger en fonction de la carte.
( justement j'envisageais la commande d'un PE2600 dans les prochains
jours... )

As said, kernel 2.4.20 should have the stable version of this driver.
There is a new modules floppy I have uploaded today, see

Maybe your web browser brake something while downloading. Some do
extract .gz without renaming it or telling you about it.

You, then you should try next-generation boot-floppies, which have been
reported to work in Dell servers. Personally, I do not like Dell crap,
they should invest more money in proper hardware design than in
advertisement.
