dans /var/log/cups/error_log. je vois rien de particulier
et cupsd.conf semble OK...
je crois que je vais desinstaller cups, puis reinstaller

Non, �a n'a rien � voir. J'ai bien le sentiment que le d�mon n'est pas lanc�
chez toi, ce qui expliquerait le comportement �trange de ton imprimante.
Essaye de voir d'o� vient ton probl�me en consultant /var/log/cups/error_log.
Regarde /etc/cups/cupsd.conf, le port 631 doit appara�tre :
