ce mail est un peu long, et devrait peut-�tre �tre divis� en diff�rents 
threads, mais j'ai l'impression que les probl�mes peuvent �tre associ�s...

Bon, je viens de passer en 2.6.8. La raison du passage �tait la lenteur de mon 
graveur de CD, pour �crire, mais aussi pour lire. J'ai cru qu'un upgrade 
pourrait arranger mon affaire. Mais rien... J'ai install� aussi le driver 
nvidia (pour pouvoir au moins connaitre slune). 

R�sultat: je n'ai avanc� en rien, et j'ai de nouveaux probl�mes. Pour un 
lecteur graveur 52x, c'est toujours tr�s lent, et mon dmesg donne des trucs 
plut�t bizarres. J'envoie les tests r�alis�s, mais je ne sais plus o� 
chercher... Malgr� les erreurs au boot pour hdc (ce qui n'arrivait pas sous 
2.4.x et emulation SCSI), �a marche toujours, sans erreurs, mais � basse 
vitesse.
