Bonjour,
J'ai un souci assez myst�rieux avec un graveur de CD-ROM IDE :
A la base j'ai une configuration enti�rement SCSI :
Adaptec 2940 U2W
1 disque dur 9,1 GO IBM U2W LVD
2 disques durs 4,3 GO UW en miroir (Software RAID)
1 lecteur de CD ROM Plextor 40x Ultra-SCSI.
Pour le reste : Carte-m�re ASUS A7V333, Carte Video Matrox G400, Carte
r�seau Intel EtherExpress 10/100, Carte son SoundBlaster Live, Athlon
XP2200+ et 512 MB de RAM.
La distribution est une debian testing.
Cela fait plusieurs semaines que cette config tourne sans aucun souci
avec un kernel 2.6.8-1-k7
Ayant r�cup�r� un graveur Lite-On d'une autre config je pensais
l'installer sur cette machine.
Apr�s le branchement (il est seul en master sur l'interface IDE
secondaire) je red�marre et le BIOS le d�tecte sans probl�me.
Par contre le noyau lui reste muet, ce qui m'�tonne le plus c'est
qu'aucune interface IDE ne soit d�tect�e. Pour pr�ciser cette CM est
�quip�e d'un controleur RAID PROMISE qui est d�sactiv� par Jumper sur la
CM et d'une carte son AC97 elle aussi d�sactiv�e. Dans le BIOS les deux
interfaces IDE sont activ�es (primaire et secondaire).
J'ai mis la sortie compl�te de dmesg � la fin mais pour faire plus court
voici le r�sultat de deux commandes :

Je sais qu'il faut utiliser l'�mulation ide-scsi pour utiliser un
graveur mais il n'apparait pas dans la liste des p�riph�riques IDE ce
qui me donnerait au moins la possibilit� de l'utiliser comme lecteur
pour v�rifier son fonctionnement.
L'interface IDE existe pourtant bien sur le bus PCI :

Apr�s moultes recherches et un bug debian approchant (le #210612 mais
sans r�ponse) j'avoue rester sec. Il semblerait que les chipsets VIA
posent parfois des probl�mes mais pas de ce genre l�. J'en viens � me
demander si le fait d'avoir le SCSI charg� avant ne pose pas des probl�mes.
Si quelqu'un a une id�e je suis preneur...
