Hmmh, ich habe mittlerweile eine Reaktion und es wird behauptet, das ist default bei cpanel und exim. Der Provider fürchtet, dass er das nicht ändern kann. Verwendet wird cPanel Build 10.2.0-RELEASE 82. Es gibt da auch einige Foren-Diskussionen zum Thema, zB bei http://www.webhostingtalk.com/archive/thread/333272-1.html Ich lese dort aber: "Your explanation hit the nail on the head and til Nick from Cpanel completely drop the POP before SMTP Authenatication and use SMTP Authentication completely, instead of relying on both ..." Hat da mein Provider ein altes Cpanel oder kann ich "drop" nicht übersetzen? Al
