Hallo, dann war meine Vermutung richtig, da� ich den Fontserver gar nicht brauche. :) Da ich in XF86Config-4 die Zeile "FontPath unix/:7100" auskommentiert habe, werden also nur die Fonts in den eingetragenen Directories verwendet, richtig? D.h., der xfs wird bei mir �berfl�ssigerweise gestartet und kann deinstalliert bzw. erst einmal beendet werden.
Jetzt bin ich bei den ganzen Fonts aber etwas verwirrt. Was sollte man denn auf jeden Fall eingetragen haben, was ist optional? Ich habe hier 75dpi, 100dpi, unscaled, und dann misc, cyrillic, Type1, Speedo.... f�r mich ein heilloses Durcheinander. Vielleicht k�nnte mir da jemand helfen, Ordnung reinzubringen? Es folgen noch ein paar Infos.
