dann passiert n�mlich Folgendes: 1. su - postgres -c cd /var/lib/postgres; 2. Als der User (ich denke mal root) als der Du eingeloggt bist: . ./.bash_profile; LANG=C initdb --encoding etc.
You cannot run initdb as root. Please log in (using, e.g., 'su') as the (unprivileged) user that will own the server process.
