Mein Desktop (woody, eigener 2.4.18er und einige Backports) �berraschte mich beim Booten mit der Meldung, /var nicht mounten zu k�nnen und ich solle fsck manuell ausf�hren.
Dieser sagt (abgetippt, also typos m�glich ;-) ):

Restarting e2fsck from beginning.

Und es (der fsck) geht wieder von vorn los...
Das FS l�sst sich aber mounten. Ein tar darauf zeigt folgendes:

Ich habe vor einigen Tagen ein neues PV der vg00 zugef�gt und /dev/vg00/lvol_var vergr��ert. Es erstreckt sich jetzt auch �ber das neue PV. Allerdings habe ich o.g. Pakete nicht erst k�rzlich erw�hnt. LVM habe ich auch nur der Vollst�ndigkeit erw�hnt. Ein Indiz, dass dieser das Problem hat, habe ich nicht gefunden (alle *display-Kommandos laufen ohne Fehler).
Wie finde ich die Ursache und wie komme ich zu einem "cleanen" FS?
