Die Lizenz ist nicht GPL kompatibel[1], dh. ich darf kein GPL Programm
nehmen, es gegen openssl linken und weiterverbreiten. Das ist _der_
Hauptgrund warum GnuTLS implementiert wurde. - Programme wie lynx,
OpenLDAP, curl, links, ... oder irgendein Program das z.B. libmysql12
verwendet duerfen libssl nicht verwenden.
