Ich hoffe ihr k�nnt mir weiterhelfen - ich verzweifle langsam aber sicher!
Ich versuche nun schon seit Tagen ein Debian auf einem IBM HS20 Blade zu installieren. Bis jetzt ohne Erfolg.
Versuch 1:
Mit der Woddy CD komme ich nicht sehr weit, da der Installer das USB Cdromlaufwerk und die USB Floppy nicht findet. Das nachtr�gliche laden von usb-ohci und usb-storage funkt auch nicht... Ein Status, wo ich werder cdrom, foppy oder zugriff auf die HD habe...
Versuch 2-25: :-D
Ich habe alle m�glichen iso ausprobiert, in der Hoffnung eine "fertige" CD mit der Hardwareunterst�tzung zu finden. Leider auch kein Erfolg. Die aktuelle KnoppixCD z.B findet zwar die cdrom und floppy, aber auch keine HD.
Letzter Versuch:
Ich hab die Sarge Netinstall von gerstern runtergeladen - die(mit 2.4x und 2.6.x Kernelversion) erkennt cdrom und floppy aber keinen Festplattencontroler... Okay, das stimmt so nicht ganz - die erkennt RAID bus controller: ServerWorks CSB6 RAID/IDE. Wobei es laut Bios ein Megaraidcontroller w�re.
Ich h�nge mal das hardware-summary.txt von der Sarge Neetinstall an, vielleicht kann mir dadurch jemand etwas weiterhelfen?! Hat jemand erfahrung mit der IBM HS20 und Debian? Was mache ich falsch bzw. wie kriege ich das Teil zum laufen? Ich bin um jede Hilfe dankebar!
Was ich jetzt noch testen m�chte ist eine Suseinstall(w�re von IBM aus unterst�tzt), wo ich dann von der HD aus versuchen werde Debian zu installieren - vielleicht funkt das...
