Hello My Linux Debian (woody 3.0.0) is very slow. I don't know why. I have good computer (proc. Duron 1,2GHz, ram 256 DDR, GeForce2 MX 400 64MB). Nautilus runs slowly - something like 5 seconds, and there is another 10 seconds befor folders and files are showed !!! I recompiled kernel. System start is slow too. About 30 sec. Gnome runs slowly. And games (for sister) - you wouldn't like to have something like that - tux racer has 2FP/s !!!
