A jaki debianek? Instalacja pakietow z cd czy z netu? I jakich pakietow?
Poza tym moja sugestia brzmi:
Prawdopodobnie masz uszkodzony pilk pkgcache.bin.
Sprobuj usunac /var/cache/apt/pkgcache.bin a potem 'apt-get update'.
Mysle, ze powinno pomoc...
