beleza galera, ja est� funcionando o modo grafico.
instalei as fontes e deu tudo certo.
mas acho que meu X esta buscando meu
arquivo XF86Config no seguinte caminho :
/root/XF86Config .
Ent�o como eu fa�o pra funcionar o que esta em
/etc/X11/XF86Config??

Pro problemas da fonte so da instala
o pacote xfonts-base e o X para de reclamar

parece que reclama que s� do mouse, mas no final das contas o pau
se d� por um problema de fontes. tente instalar um servidor de fontes.
Se n�o me engano o nome do pacote � o xfs (X font server).
A forma mais gostosinha de configurar o X � com:
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
boa sorte. e estamos aqui, esperando o resultado.
